Litigation can be costly and frustrating. There is another way: Mediation. Using a professional mediator can help to resolve a claim quickly and efficiently. The only downside is the cost of mediation and the need to compromise. People rarely get exactly what they are looking for through negotiations. But then, going to Court can be a risky business. There is hardly ever such a thing as a dead cert case. Also, you don’t have to reach an agreement at a mediation (although our resolution record is 99%). It is entirely voluntary, although you do get a binding agreement if you do reach agreement. It’s up to you rather than a judge imposing some arbitrary decision on you.
