Employment disputes in court have increased by 6 per cent, figures showed yesterday, building on a two-year trend that started after tribunal fees were ruled to be unlawful. Ministry of Justice statistics showed a rise in individual cases brought before the employment tribunal as well as those involving multiple claimants for the first three months of this year, compared with the year before. This is likely to be caused by the reduction in tribunal fees, making it more likely people will bring claims.
