ProMediate is an innovative mediation service provider, certified by CTSI to deal with consumer disputes with businesses.
We administer the Manchester Civil Mediation Pilot which offers a responsive and cost effective as well as innovative mediation service.
We mediate by telephone and online. We are always flexible about the methods of mediation rather than insisting upon a full day’s mediation in all cases.
All of our mediators are qualified prodessionals. ProMediate aims to change the culture of dispute resolution in the UK to make it the first port of call to parties in dispute and to use technology to develop this culture. We provide a “one stop” ADR shop for any dispute of any value and nature ranging from the multi million pound commercial dispute to a complaint about a pair of shoes or a restaurant meal.
We deliver a mediator training course and are interested in speaking to mediators who will join with us in delivering and marketing the course.
Peter Causton who runs ProMediate has written a book on ADR in personal injury claims with Law Brief Publishing and is on the editorial board of the official Jackson ADR handbook.
ProMediate was on the board of the Civil Mediation Council. Peter has been nominated by the Law Society as solicitor of the year in the Excellence Awards 2017.
